Electronic health records (EHRs) have brought clear benefits to the health care industry, but there have also been challenges. Design, regulation, implementation decisions, and training among other factors all play a role in the end-user experience with EHRs. To enhance this experience, improve usability, be able to successfully share information and integrate new digital tools, collaboration among all EHR key stakeholders is imperative.
